Our primary purpose for existing is to love God, serve Him, and glorify Him with our lives.

We also exist to love all people with the same type of love and compassion that Christ displayed while He was on earth.

To accomplish these noble objectives, we need ongoing training for the work of ministry.

We also need to recognize that God has gifted us for service (1 Peter 4:10-11) and commissioned us to spread the gospel into all parts of the world, beginning right where we live.

To put it more simply, we can summarize the purpose of the church with the acronym A-C-T-S.  We exist to:
