Adore the Lord - Care for Others - Train the Saints - Share the Gospel

A quick note from our youth minister:

Now is an exciting time to be involved in the youth at Dawson.  As the youth pastor of Dawson Baptist, I believe it's important for youth to have ownership in their group, because if it's something their proud of, it's something they'll want to invite their friends to.  If it weren't for them, my job wouldn't exist.  After all, I'm just a simple guy with a passion for God and seeing youth come to know, live, own, and share their faith in Jesus.  I also like to have alot of fun in the process, so if any of that appeals to you, come and join us.  The name of our youth group is Area 54.  We currently meet in the fireside room in the back of the yellow youth house next to the picnic shelter.  We are currently renovating aour youth room.  Come check it out and while you're here, you're sure experience a C.L.O.S.E. (Christians Living Out Servanthood Evangelism) Encounter of the AREA 54 kind!  Our normal service times are 6:00pm on Sunday nights for church worship and on Wednesday nights from 6:30pm to 7:15pm for youth worship.  We look forward to having you join us.

                                                                   God's love be with you,
                                                                   Mike Payton

As Christians, we are to spread the gospel, good news, of Jesus.  Below is an acronym to use when doing so.

God created us to be with him.
    Genesis 1:27
Our sins seperate us from God.
    Genesis 3
Sins cannot be removed by good deeds.
    1 Timothy 2:5
Paying the price for sin, Jesus died and rose again.
    Luke 24:46
Everyone who trusts in Jesus alone has eternal life.
    John 3:16, Acts 16:31
Life with Jesus starts now and lasts forever.
